Weather: The weather has been HOT, with a low of 67 degrees and high of 98 degrees Fahrenheit for the week.

Flows: Flows have been going down quickly, currently sitting at 889 cfs at Calder!

Bugs: Yellow Sallies, Caddis, PMD's, Golden Stones, Terrestrials

Report:

With the current heatwave, early morning fishing is your best bet. Transition to summer techniques, using attractor patterns and terrestrials with droppers down about 3 feet. Focus on riffles, drop-offs, and structure—classic summer water spots. Don't forget about the tributaries!

Be aware that inner tubers and recreational floaters will be out, especially on the lower stretches.

Enjoy the summer fishing and stay cool!
